Career Category Engineering Job Description Level 4 Sr Associate Software Engineer:  Role Description:  The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and solutions that meet business needs and ensuring the availability and performance of critical systems and applications. This role involves working closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to create high-quality, scalable software solutions and automating operations, monitoring system health, and responding to incidents to minimize downtime.  Roles & Responsibilities  Develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software applications that meet business and technical requirements.   Contribute to the design, development, and enhancement of front-end applications using React.js (preferred) or equivalent UI frameworks, and back-end services using modern programming languages and cloud technologies.   Build intuitive, responsive, and accessible user interfaces following enterprise UX standards and design system guidelines.   Develop reusable UI components, integrate RESTful APIs, and optimize application performance for improved user experience.   Participate in software design discussions and contribute to technical solutions using modern software engineering best practices.   Develop innovative solutions by leveraging Generative AI technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and AI-assisted development tools.   Translate business requirements into high-quality, maintainable, and secure software solutions.   Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability.   Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects, production issues, and performance bottlenecks.   Participate in peer code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to coding standards.   Create and maintain technical documentation, including solution designs, API specifications, deployment guides, and operational procedures.   Work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Management, UX/UI Design, QA, Data Engineering, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software solutions.   Develop and integrate applications with enterprise platforms, APIs, databases, and cloud services.   Collaborate with data scientists and AI engineers to integrate machine learning models and AI capabilities into enterprise applications.   Support the development and maintenance of MLOps pipelines for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.   Deploy and support AI/ML-enabled applications in cloud environments while ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability.   Participate in CI/CD pipeline implementation and automate software build, testing, and deployment processes.   Monitor application health, investigate operational issues, and implement improvements to enhance reliability, performance, and availability.
