  • Source: open job listings that NextKnock reads from public company careers pages and job boards hosted by companies, for roles in India or remote roles open to candidates in India. Private company lists added by individual users are excluded.
  • Open jobs are listings still live when last checked. New this week counts open jobs posted in the last 7 days. Most job boards (Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workday, SmartRecruiters, Workable) give the employer's posted date and that is used; when a careers page gives no date, the day NextKnock first found the job is used instead. Jobs that opened and closed within the week are not counted.
  • Roles and cities are matched from job titles and locations; a job can count in more than one role. Fresher-friendly means the listing asks for about a year of experience or less, or the title says intern, trainee or entry level.
  • Coverage: this reflects the companies NextKnock tracks, not the whole Indian job market. Treat it as a directional signal.
  • No personal data or HR contact details are used or shown in this report. Numbers refresh about every 6 hours.
