Senior Staff Software Engineer - Java Sustaining

Software Engineer, Identity Product Engineering  *This role is in Pune, India. Our identity security solutions secure and enable thousands of enterprise companies worldwide, giving our customers unmatched visibility into the entirety of their digital workforce, ensuring workers have the right access to do their job – no more, no less.  Built on a foundation of AI and ML, our Identity Products, the right level of access to the right identities and resources at the right time—matching the scale, velocity, and changing needs of today’s cloud-oriented, modern enterprise.  About you and the role:  SailPoint is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Feature teams for the Identity product.  In this role, you are responsible for increasing the quality of Identity and developing solutions to customer reported issues.  You are responsible for writing quality code in addition to debugging complex problems.  You will work closely with the broader Engineering team, as well as Support, and occasionally communicate directly with customers to assist in L3 Support escalations.  We’re looking for candidates with a strong work ethic who can work with a team of very experienced Software Engineers and Testers.  Lack of experience in a particular technology/platform is not a showstopper if there is a skill of immediate usefulness, as well as a commitment to continual learning.  * Your role includes fixing product/security bug, enhancing product supportability and assisting tech support or professional services on the technical queries Skills  12+ years professional experience in developing enterprise software, preferably in a Java/J2EE environment, and demonstrated fluency in Java  Proven experience developing/designing Java and JavaScript based UI components.  Experience using JSF, ExtJS, AngularJS, Angular, Bootstrap, jQuery, AJAX, and other J2EE technologies  Experience in the development and integration of REST-based web services utilizing XML and/or JSON data representations  Experience with various operating systems (Windows Server, Linux, AIX, Solaris, etc.)  Experience with SQL and one or more database platforms (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, DB2, etc.)  Experience with object-relational mapping (ORM) tools, such as Hibernate and MyBatis, is highly desirable  Experience with one or more web application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss, Tomcat, etc.)  Experience with one or more revision control systems (Git, Subversion, Perforce, CVS, etc.)  Experience in the development and maintenance of unit tests using a testing framework, such as TestNG and JUnit, is highly desirable  Proven ability to work with other software development engineers for problem reproduction and resolution  Proven ability to successfully navigate and relate to varying levels of functional and technical personnel
