BlackLine Administrator and Optimization (Sr. Associate) The RSM Finance and Accounting Outsourcing (FAO) practice is actively hiring for BlackLine Administrator and Optimization. These positions will be responsible for the support and administration of the deployment, adoption, optimization and ongoing operation of the BlackLine solution, including journal entries, account reconciliations, matching, variance analysis, compliance and financial close tasks modules. These roles will be responsible for consulting and collaborating with our team of high-performing consultants responsible for onboarding new clients and providing ongoing client accounting services (CAS).  This role will provide exposure to a variety of clients and client industries to continue your career development. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in both accounting and cloud-based technology solutions along with an understanding of how to leverage technology for process improvement.  Key Responsibilities: 1.      BlackLine Configuration: Configure and maintain the BlackLine platform to align with our specific financial processes and business requirements. 2.      User Support: Provide training and support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and ensure a smooth user experience within the BlackLine platform. 3.      Process Optimization: Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and automation using BlackLine. 4.      Reconciliation Management: Oversee reconciliation processes and ensure accuracy and completeness in line with accounting standards. 5.      Journal Entry Management: Assist in the management and review of journal entries within BlackLine, ensuring compliance and accuracy. 6.      Task Management: Create, assign, and monitor tasks within BlackLine to streamline financial workflows. 7.      Data Integrity: Maintain data integrity and data quality within the BlackLine platform, including data imports and exports. 8.      System Upgrades and Enhancements: Stay up to date with BlackLine software updates and collaborate with IT for system upgrades and enhancements. 9.      Reporting and Analytics: Generate reports and provide insights to support financial decision-making. 10.   Compliance: Ensure that BlackLine usage adheres to regulatory and compliance requirements. Develop collaborative relationships with partnering teams and stakeholders to identify system improvement opportunities.
