Finance Systems Business Analyst

Senior Business Analyst (Finance Transformation) Location Gurugram / Pune - India (Hybrid) Department Finance  Role Summary We are seeking two highly motivated Senior Business Analysts to join the Finance Operations team, supporting a portfolio of strategic Finance transformation initiatives. These roles will play a key part in delivering process improvements, system implementations, and operating model changes that enhance efficiency, controls, reporting, and decision-making across the business. The successful candidates will work closely with Finance, Technology, Operations, and external delivery partners to analyse business processes, define requirements, support system implementations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Business Process Analysis & Requirements Gathering Analyse current-state business processes and identify opportunities for improvement, standardisation, and automation. Support the development and implementation of Target Operating Models (TOMs), processes, and workflows across Group functions. Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear functional and non-functional requirements. Facilitate workshops, process mapping sessions, and requirements-gathering activities. Develop business process documentation, user stories, use cases, and functional specifications. Transformation & System Implementation Support Support the delivery of strategic transformation programmes, including finance and enterprise system implementations. Work with project teams, solution architects, and vendors to ensure requirements are understood and delivered effectively. Assist with system configuration reviews, testing activities, and deployment planning. Develop and maintain training materials, user guides, and process documentation. Support change management and business adoption activities. Testing & Quality Assurance Assist in the creation of test strategies, test scripts, and test packs. Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT). Work with QA teams and business users to validate solutions and ensure requirements are met. Support defect management and resolution activities. Business As Usual Support & Continuous Improvement Support users with troubleshooting, process issues, and system enhancements. Investigate root causes of operational and system-related challenges and recommend solutions. Identify opportunities to improve reporting, controls, automation, and user experience. Work closely with Finance and operational teams to ensure systems continue to meet evolving business requirements. Skills & Experience Essential Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related discipline. 7+ years experience working as a Business Analyst on transformation, ERP, or business intelligence initiatives.
