Business Consultant – Financial Modelling

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW COLLEAGUE: Business Consultant – Financial Modelling YOU AND YOUR TEAM: Business Consultant is a client-facing role in providing support on a wide range of LSEG Excel Add-in products.  You will investigate and learn different segments of the financial industry depending on the clients' role and workflow. Our customers rely on our expertise to take their business decisions every day. You will work with highly qualified colleagues and on a regular basis with Account Managers and Sales specialists in different locations. You will also have exposure to our customers, such experts as Research Analysts, Fund Managers, and Investment Advisors in large financial institutions around the world. Specialist will also be responsible for training the associates in the team on financial modelling WHY IS THIS JOB IMPORTANT? Specialist's daily tasks require creative approach using LSEG applications and financial knowledge. You will investigate and learn different parts of financial industry depending on client’s role and workflow. Our customers rely on your expertise to take their business decisions every day.  SOME OF THE DAILY TASKS YOU WILL PERFORM: ·  Prepare custom, tailor-made analyses in Microsoft Excel / LSEG applications based on client’s requests ·  Cooperate with sales teams in displacements of our competition (migrations from other products on the market, provide new revenue opportunities) and help in the retention of current clients ·  Plan, prepare and perform migrations projects for huge, well known financial institutions (mainly work with customer’s financial models and charts, data conversion) ·  Work on data presentations, analyses presentations, and functionality inquiries ·  Provide creative solutions and a high level of service through telephone and e-mail WHAT DO YOU NEED TO BRING? ·  Fluency in English (both written and spoken) ·  2+ years of experience in Financial Modelling is a MUST ·  Numeracy skills and analytic mind ·  Advanced experience in using LSEG Workspace Excel Add-in (including Datastream for Office) ·  Advanced knowledge about financial market ·  Attention to details and ability to work with data ·  Proved experience working with customers and internal stakeholders (SAM, Content, Product Management) ·  Great communication and networking skills Career Stage: Senior Associate London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) Information: Join us and be part of a team that values innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.
