Overview: Mastercard's Payment Networks organization is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to join the Authorization team. The successful candidate will partner with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Quality Engineering, Operations and other cross-functional teams to drive delivery of strategic and operational initiatives supporting Mastercard's Authorization platform. This role is responsible for planning, coordinating and governing the execution of complex technical programs spanning multiple engineering teams and stakeholder groups. The Technical Program Manager II will drive delivery excellence through strong program management practices, proactive risk management, dependency coordination, stakeholder communication and release governance. The ideal candidate combines strong technical acumen with exceptional communication and organizational skills and is passionate about delivering high-quality solutions in a fast-paced payments environment. Role The Technical Program Manager II will: Lead end-to-end planning and execution of complex technical initiatives across multiple teams. Drive program governance, execution tracking and delivery reporting for strategic authorization platform initiatives. Facilitate PI Planning, release planning, sprint governance and cross-team execution reviews. Manage dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, constraints, and blockers to ensure successful delivery outcomes. Coordinate dependencies across Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Operations and supporting organizations. Proactively identify, track and mitigate program risks, issues, assumptions and constraints.
