The Global Product Engineering team is responsible for developing a suite of foundational payment solutions. Role Overview: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will: Core Engineering Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture. • Deploy and manage applications on PCF and/or Kubernetes. • Develop engaging and responsive user interfaces using modern front-end frameworks such as Angular or React. • Participate in Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and contribute to the evaluation and selection of technologies, vendor solutions, frameworks, and methodologies. • Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code. • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver high-quality products. • Participate in code reviews and continuously improve engineering practices. • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. • Ensure adequate test coverage across unit, integration, system, automation, and performance testing. • Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
