If you’re passionate about shaping the future of cybersecurity and ready for your next challenge, we’d love to hear from you.  About the Role  As a Security Operations Engineer at HPE, you will be responsible for Web Application and API Protection (WAAP) administration. You will serve as a technical lead for the administration, optimization, and continuous improvement of the WAAP platform to protect web applications and APIs from cyber threats while partnering with application, infrastructure, and security teams to enhance the organization's security posture. You will apply your knowledge of Application Security, WAF administration, API Security and Networking to protect HPE’s web applications and APIs.  About You  You will bring expertise in Application Security and WAF Administration tools and platforms to protect HPE’s web applications and APIs. You will work independently and contribute to high-impact projects in fast-paced environments, applying advanced expertise across cybersecurity and IT security.  Your experience with Application Security, WAF administration, API Security, and Networking will be critical. Strong communication skills are essential, enabling you to explain complex technical issues clearly to non-technical audiences.  You are energized by building capabilities that do not yet exist. You are comfortable working through ambiguity, identifying gaps in current processes or tooling, and creating solutions that scale beyond individual applications or teams.
