Murex Business Analyst – Back Office

Job Summary Synechron is seeking a Back Office Business Analyst with 6+ years of experience and strong expertise in Murex Back Office processes. The role will support trade processing, settlements, confirmations, post-trade workflows, requirements analysis, configuration, testing, defect resolution, and implementation activities. The successful candidate will work with regional business and technology teams to translate operational requirements into practical Murex solutions.This position contributes to business objectives by improving post-trade processing efficiency, settlement accuracy, operational control, issue resolution, and alignment between business requirements and technology delivery. Software Requirements Required Software Skills Murex Back Office: Strong hands-on experience with Murex Back Office functionality and post-trade processes. Trade processing: Good knowledge of trade capture, trade lifecycle events, enrichment, validation, and downstream processing. Settlements: Good knowledge of settlement processes, settlement instructions, settlement status, fails, and exception handling. Confirmations: Experience with confirmation processes, confirmation generation, validation, amendments, and exception management. Murex workflows: Experience with Murex workflows and workflow-based post-trade processing. Requirements analysis: Ability to gather, document, analyze, validate, and prioritize business requirements. Configuration support: Experience supporting Murex configuration activities based on approved business requirements. Testing: Experience preparing test scenarios, test cases, test data, execution evidence, and defect documentation. Defect resolution: Ability to investigate, document, prioritize, track, and resolve functional defects. Implementation support: Experience supporting release planning, implementation, deployment, validation, and post-implementation activities. Stakeholder collaboration: Ability to work with regional business and technology teams. Version experience: Specific Murex versions are not defined in the requirements; candidates should have experience with the version applicable to the assigned environment. Preferred Software Skills Experience with Murex configuration, workflow analysis, post-trade integration, and production support. Experience with trade lifecycle management across multiple asset classes. Familiarity with requirements management, defect tracking, test management, documentation, and collaboration tools. Experience with Agile delivery methodologies and structured implementation processes. Familiarity with source control, release management, environment coordination, and deployment processes. Experience supporting regional or multi-location implementations. Experience with process improvement, operational controls, and post-trade automation.
