Java Integration & DevSecOps Engineer Position Summary We are seeking an experienced Java Integration & DevSecOps Engineer to develop, maintain, secure, test, and support enterprise integration solutions connecting complex business applications and services. This role combines Java application development, systems integration, software security, automated deployment, application testing, and operational support. The successful candidate will have experience developing and supporting integrations using web services, application programming interfaces, and database connectivity within a secure enterprise environment. The engineer is also expected to effectively use approved artificial intelligence-assisted development tools, including Copilot, throughout the software development lifecycle to improve development efficiency, testing effectiveness, troubleshooting, documentation, and overall code quality. All AI-assisted output must be appropriately reviewed, validated, secured, and tested prior to implementation. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain, and support secure, scalable Java-based enterprise integration solutions using REST and SOAP web services, application programming interfaces, and database connectivity. Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration, interface, data-processing, and service-related issues while implementing enhancements to meet evolving business and technical requirements. Apply secure software-development practices and remediate vulnerabilities identified through application security testing while maintaining system functionality and reliability. Manage application security requirements, including certificate, credential, and password rotations, and resolve related authentication and authorization issues. Maintain and enhance automated build, test, and deployment pipelines to improve deployment consistency, reliability, and operational efficiency. Support application releases, deployment validation, production issue resolution, and appropriate testing of application changes prior to implementation. Identify and implement opportunities to automate development, testing, deployment, and operational processes.
