Job Description:  Job Family Definition: Designs, analyses, develops, modifies and evaluates electrical/electronic parts, components, sub-systems, algorithms, or integrated circuitry for Routers (access, edge and core) and Ethernet Switches.  Conducts feasibility studies, design margin and validation analyses and empirical testing on new and modified designs. Assists in architecture development and assessment. Evaluates reliability of materials, properties, designs, and techniques used in production. May direct support personnel in the preparation of detailed design, design testing and prototype fabrication. Management Level Definition: Hardware Engineering Team under Networking BU is working on the most leading edge technologies for Routers and Ethernet Switches used in Hyperscale Data Centres for AI, Service Providers, Enterprise Networks. Team is responsible for end-to-end design and development of solutions. Contributions have visible technical impact on a product or major subcomponent.  Applies in-depth professional knowledge and innovative ideas to solve complex problems. Visible contributions improve time-to-market, achieve cost reductions, or satisfy current and future unmet customer needs. Recognized internal authority on key technology area applying innovative principles and ideas. Provides technical leadership for significant project/program work. Leads or participates in cross-functional initiatives and contributes to mentorship and knowledge sharing across the organization. What you’ll do: Responsibilities: ·       Owning End-to-End responsibility of designing and delivering the product ·       Working closely with PLM Team, understanding the Market Requirements and coming-up with architecture details ·       Defining architecture, product description details, authoring hardware functional specifications ·       Complete Hardware Design Flow – Schematic Entry, selecting components, working with various teams – eCAD, PCB Layout, SI, Power, Mechanical, Thermal, FPGA ·       Specifying PCB Stack, working with PCB vendors, supply chain and manufacturing teams
