Must have skills : PySpark Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops and implements infrastructure and platform environments, often creating proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed designs. Collaboration with various teams to align architecture with organizational goals is a key part of daily activities, ensuring that solutions are scalable, secure, and efficient. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to foster professional growth. - Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of cloud infrastructure with business objectives. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PySpark. - Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management. - Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices. - Ability to design and validate architecture through proof of concept implementations. - Familiarity with performance testing and optimization of cloud applications. - Skilled in integrating cloud and non-cloud systems to create cohesive solutions.
