The Role Your Role As a Software Engineering Technical Specialist, you will develop solutions in specific domains such as Security, Systems, Databases, Networking Solutions, and more. You will be a leader – contributing knowledge, guidance, technical expertise, and team leadership skills. Your leadership will be demonstrated in your work, to your customers, and within your teams. What you will do Act as the primary point of contact for resolving customer business and technical challenges. Identify, analyze, and define complex problems to develop effective solutions. Gather, evaluate, and synthesize information from multiple sources to support informed decision-making. Drive improvements in service effectiveness, operational efficiency, and delivery through technology and best-practice methodologies. Design, develop, integrate, deliver, and continuously enhance highly scalable distributed software solutions. Collaborate with software engineers, architects, product managers, and partner teams across the Agile software development lifecycle. Develop innovative functionality and technical solutions that address evolving customer requirements. Refine and groom features and user stories, providing accurate effort estimates and implementation plans. Identify technical risks, dependencies, and potential challenges, and communicate them proactively to stakeholders. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality features and product enhancements. Drive the resolution of technical debt, security vulnerabilities, and outdated third-party components. Maintain product scalability, reliability, security, and performance standards. Mentor and coach engineers on software design, architecture, and development best practices. Guide teams in building highly available, secure, and distributed software systems. Contribute to the ongoing innovation, evolution, and success of software products and solutions. Foster effective communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across cross-functional teams.
