Position Summary The Senior Staff Software Engineer will provide technical leadership in designing and evolving large-scale, distributed systems and platform architectures across multiple teams and organizational domains. This role will drive long-term technical strategy, architectural modernization, AI-enabled engineering practices, and platform capabilities while improving system reliability, scalability, developer productivity, and business outcomes. Key Responsibilities Lead the design and evolution of large-scale, distributed systems and platform architectures to ensure long-term scalability, reliability, and extensibility. Define and guide technical strategy and architecture across multiple teams, aligning engineering priorities with business objectives and product goals. Drive the adoption of AI-assisted development practices and AI-enabled capabilities to improve engineering effectiveness, product innovation, and measurable business outcomes. Lead complex, cross-functional initiatives spanning multiple systems and domains while driving technical alignment and successful execution. Identify, communicate, and mitigate systemic technical risks while advancing system reliability, observability, performance, and operational maturity. Define and drive strategies for reducing technical debt, modernizing legacy systems, and improving platform architecture across the organization. Develop and promote shared platform capabilities, services, tooling, and engineering practices that improve developer productivity and system consistency.
