Project Role : Modernization Engineer Project Role Description : Build and test agile and cost effective hosting solutions. Implement scalable, high performance hosting solutions that meet the need of todays corporate and digital applications using both private and public cloud technologies. Develop and deliver legacy infrastructure transformation and migration to drive next-generation business outcomes. Must have skills : Spring Boot Good to have skills : Amazon Web Services (AWS) Minimum 12 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Modernization Engineer, a typical day involves designing and validating innovative hosting solutions that are both agile and cost-efficient. The role focuses on creating scalable and high-performance environments tailored to support contemporary corporate and digital applications. This includes working with a blend of private and public cloud infrastructures to transform and migrate legacy systems, enabling organizations to achieve advanced business objectives and improved operational efficiency. The position requires continuous collaboration and adaptation to evolving technology landscapes to ensure solutions remain robust and future-ready. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead the evaluation and integration of new technologies to enhance hosting solutions. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to support professional growth. - Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of modernization initiatives with business goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Spring Boot. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS). - Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles and best practices. - Experience in designing and implementing scalable, high-availability systems. - Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies. - Ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure and application issues effectively.
