The Role Your Role As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients – which means some of the biggest in the world. What You Will DO Perform I/O configuration changes and support hardware additions, removals, and upgrades. Work with HCD (Hardware Configuration Definition) and IOCP (I/O Configuration Program). Configure and maintain channels, control units, devices, and related mainframe hardware. Support z/OS environments and troubleshoot I/O-related issues. Coordinate with system programmers, storage, network, and hardware teams for configuration activities. Perform impact analysis and validation before implementing configuration changes. Troubleshoot hardware connectivity and device configuration issues. Maintain configuration documentation and follow change-management processes.
