The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an IT Finance and Planning Lead, you will have the opportunity to partner with IT and business leaders to drive financial transparency, investment decisions, and operational effectiveness across the technology portfolio. Here, you will make an impact by: • Leading the IT annual operating plan, budget, forecast, and long-range planning cycles by coordinating inputs across IT functions, challenging assumptions, and providing significant input to departmental budget decisions so plans align with strategic roadmaps and investment priorities. • Serving as the subject matter expert for IT financial management, the person IT leadership consults on investment trade-offs, business cases, total cost of ownership, ROI, funding alternatives, and capital vs. operating expense treatment for technology initiatives and transformation programs. • Solving complex, multi-faceted financial problems across the IT portfolio by analyzing spending trends, cost drivers, variances, and forecast risks, evaluating options, and recommending corrective actions and optimization opportunities that affect how financial resources are allocated across multiple IT teams. • Leading cross-functional financial initiatives without direct people-management responsibility. This covers benefits realization, vendor and contract financials, accruals, consumption analysis, and portfolio financial governance, working with Finance, Procurement, and program leaders to deliver on time and within approved budgets. • Advising IT leaders with executive-ready financial insight, including scenario analyses, monthly performance reviews, and decision-support materials for prioritization and resource allocation.
