Must have skills : Oracle Applications DBA Good to have skills : PostgreSQL Minimum 12 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Database Administrator, a typical day involves designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems to support organizational needs. This role includes installing database management systems and developing comprehensive procedures to ensure smooth daily operations and timely resolution of any issues. The position requires continuous monitoring and optimization of database performance, collaborating with various teams to align database functionality with business objectives, and ensuring data integrity and security throughout all processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams. - Lead efforts to optimize database performance and ensure high availability. - Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Applications DBA, PostgreSQL. - Strong knowledge of database installation, configuration, and maintenance. - Experience in developing and implementing backup and recovery strategies. - Ability to monitor database performance and tune systems for optimal efficiency. - Familiarity with database security best practices and compliance requirements. - Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex database issues.
