Data Engineer

Project Role : Data Engineer Project Role Description : Design, develop and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing. Create data pipelines, ensure data quality, and implement ETL (extract, transform and load) processes to migrate and deploy data across systems. Must have skills : Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform Good to have skills : NA Minimum 3 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Summary: As a Data Platform Engineer, a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure seamless integration across various systems and data models. The position demands a proactive approach to aligning platform components with organizational needs, fostering effective communication among team members, and supporting the overall data infrastructure strategy to enable efficient data management and utilization. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of data platform components with business requirements. - Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to data platform integration. - Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimize data workflows and platform performance. - Document processes and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform. - Experience with cloud-based data processing and storage solutions. - Strong understanding of data integration techniques and data modeling concepts. - Familiarity with scripting and automation to streamline data workflows. - Ability to work with large-scale data sets and optimize data pipelines.
