Custom Software Engineer

Project Role : Custom Software Engineer Project Role Description : Develop custom software solutions to design, code, and enhance components across systems or applications. Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. Must have skills : Oracle PeopleSoft Financials Good to have skills : NA Minimum 5 year(s) of experience is required Educational Qualification : 15 years full time education Roles & Responsibilities: 1. Complete configuration and master data maintenance activities (e.g., hierarchies, trees, etc.). 2. Complete general ledger configuration and master data maintenance activities (e.g., configuring legal entities, chartfields, trees, combination edits, run controls, trees, journal sources, etc.). 3. Maintain configuration process documentation, job aids and training materials 4. EPM reporting configuration elements (e.g., Business Unit, calendar mapping, TimeSpans, nVision components 5. Complete Project Costing, and Procurement configuration and master data maintenance activities (e.g., Project Costing chartfields, trees, combination edits, run controls, Item categories, etc.). Professional & Technical Skills: Experience with PeopleSoft reporting technologies such as BI Publisher, SQR and Peoplesoft Query Manager and Query writing Experience with creating reports and queries utilizing relational database (SQL) Strong knowledge of generally accepted finance and accounting policies, principles and controls as well as consolidations and foreign currency translation . Experience with HFM, Hyperion tools such as (FDM, DRM, Essbase), PeopleSoft GL/EPM is preferred. Experience with Hyperion tools such as (FDMEE, DRM, Essbase, SmartView), HFM, PeopleSoft GL/EPM is preferred Experience with PeopleSoft EPM v8.9 or comparable reporting tool. Experience with Peoplesoft GL v9.1 or comparable general ledger tool. Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence tools (including Hyperion Essbase, Hyperion Financial Reports, SmartView and OBIEE Interactive Dashboards) preferred. Experience with PeopleSoft Financials applications required.
